More skincare from The Ordinary

After trying their cheap as chips Hyaluronic Acid serum, I thought it wouldn't break the bank trying out a couple more things from the range. No joke, I lingered on their website, reading geeky, scientific benefits of all the complicatedly named products for hours. It's just so different from the rest.
They aren't forcefully trying to portray a certain brand image or making up all this stuff. Everything from product descriptions to recommendations seems real and honest. As a Marketing professional, I understand this discretion is mostly up to the company and not the copywriters so two thumbs up to The Ordinary for keeping it real. Sometimes the website even suggests you buy a cheaper version of say, their Hyaluronic Acid for instance, if you want a potent version and are okay taking on the mild side effects for a couple of days after use. #mindblown.

I got myself their Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, because a. Caroline Hirons would be proud and b. It has similar ingredients to the Alpha H Liquid Gold and Pixi Glow Tonic, just at a cheaper price. It smells similar to too! The packaging is effective and the product is gold. It's a simple trick to mildly exfoliate your skin without the abrasive exfoliants in face scrubs. I use it thrice a week, in the evenings because it's not best friends with the sun. You get skin clarity, new skin peeping through every week, better skincare absorption, less clogging and hence less spots and good skin my friends, solves most problems in life. You get 240ml for a freakishly low £6.80. It can only be sorcery.

I also got their Salicylic Acid 2% Solution. This is a live saver in your skincare stash as you all know by now. But if you've been umming and aahing to repurchase one due to its price, then get your hands on this baby. You get 30ml for £4.20! I know, you get more shocks on this website than the finale of GOT. Salicylic acid hates spots. It will deep cleanse those pores from inside out. So use this as a preventative treatment if you have oily skin or like me, reserve it for those days of the months when skin simply doesn't want to behave.

I cannot recommend The Ordinary enough. I already have a list of Lactic Acids and Advanced Retinoids on my wish list.
