Lord & Berry have introduced 7 new colours to their range of Kissproof Lipsticks and they are fabulous! Think in the line of Kylie Jenner and Huda Beauty's lip colours but much less heavy on the lips. To me, the formula seems closest to Sephora's Lip Stains. It's lightweight, very comfortable on the lips and quite smooth on application. Like with all stains, I like to work in layers. Don't go crazy with dollops of gooey, high pigment colour at once as you'll only end up in a mess that will need oil based makeup removers to rescue it.
They seem to last an entire day on me if I am careful with what I eat and drink. When in contact with food or beverage, it doesn't immediately start to fade, but over a few hours, you can notice the colour fading from the inside of the mouth working its way outwards. Having said that, it is transfer resistant, non-drying on the lips and a pain in the backside to remove, which is a good thing in terms of longevity.
I have tried Knockout and Noblesse. Knockout is a deep wine shade with a warm sooty undertone to it, it that makes any sense. A matte colour, it's an easy to pull off darker and vampy lip colour, perfect for when you need to feel like a bawse. Noblesse, on the other hand, is a trendy medium taupe with a greige undertone to it. It's one of those hip shades you've seen on MUA's rock on Instagram or surely on Kylie Jenner's IG. This one comes with finely milled silver speckles that balance out the somewhat harsh, difficult to pull off colour in a refreshing way. Love!
