Leighton Denny High Gloss Nail Paints

A few weeks ago I was totally psyched with the gloriously bare nails trend dominating runways and editorials. Until last weekend when I was getting ready for a wedding party and suddenly my no-fuss nails seemed to look incomplete and anti-festive. So, I finally tried Leighton Denny nail paints in two very contrasting shades – No Comment, a sublime aubergine with plum undertones, and Caught Red Handed, a rich metallic red. This sassy red with a glossy twist exudes confidence and compliments most outfits, from plain white T’s to shimmery gowns. Leighton Denny has got its polish consistency right which makes application quite a breeze. The rich colour pigmentation adds depth and dimension to the nails, making them shimmer and shine. I subconsciously became daintier with my hand movements, showing off my buffed red nails at flattering angles. The dark aubergine is a beautiful gothic number with plum undertones and the right amount of duskiness. The glossy finish automatically adds a hint of class. Finish with a good top coat of Seche Vete and voila! You are good to go for a few days without the fear of chipping or flaking. I have tried many variants of base and top coats over the years, but Seche Vete still seals the deal like no other with its uber glossy, fast drying formula. Overall, these Leighton Denny nail paints remind me of Chanel’s shimmery range. If their Instagram page is any indication, their classic range of all-season colours is already a huge hit with the masses. For £12 a pot, these are great value for money. Must try!
