While I oohed and aahed at every bling blinding accessory on the 2017 Oscar red carpet (from headbands adorned with magnificent gemstones, to chandelier earrings bigger than the one in hotel lobbies!) I told myself, these would be a tad bit inappropriate in London underground. Just like makeup, I prefer to keep accessorising to a minimal, with a few classic trinkets that can complement my collection of sweatshirts and white T's. Jon Richard has an eclectic collection of fine jewellery pieces that fit just the bill. My favourite is their Sterling Silver Angel Wing Necklace - classic yet modern, adorned with just the right amount of zircons on the outer lining of the wing, keeping it chic. Another adorable piece reflecting the symbolism trend is their Silver Crescent Moon Necklace. I had my eye on this one since Sarah Jessica Parker wore the gorgeous moon necklace in Sex and the City 2. While I couldn’t fly to Turkey to pick that exact piece, this sterling silver necklace from Debenhams works just fine. It’s classy, fun and sparkly. If you are not one for necklaces, then the tiny Star Burst Earrings can add the right amount of gloss to your look with its glistening finish. Pictures do not justify how cute and shiny this little bijou is. Jon Richards range is great value for money for its wearability and great quality. If you love bling more than others, like my mum, you will love the Rose Gold Twist Bracelet and Necklace set. She just pops it on whenever she goes to the high street really! Or you could always wear it with a gown.
