New Holiday Favourites - Travel Friendly Potions & Lotions

I am one of those weird people who absolutely loves packing for holidays. From all the bits and bobs I stashed into my cabin bag, these were my absolute favourites in the make-up, hair and skin department. If you're planning a getaway soon, keep on reading and you might discover a must-have.

Botanicals Organic Nourish Facial Oil. An anti-ageing, 100% natural facial oil, that literally saved my skin on my last holiday to Portugal. Thank god I popped this mini potion in my handbag last minute! With cold mornings, evenings and scorching afternoons, my confused skin found relief with this nourishing rose & camellia facial oil. Made particularly to suit skin during spring months, this organic concoction was highly hydrating for my combination skin, restoring its natural glow, without any signs of a breakout.

VO5 Give Me Texture. I took this pocket-friendly 7g bottle as they won't allow me to travel with my 200ml Label M Texturising Volume Spray. The dust works quite well as adding a layer of invisible volume to the roots and lifting from around the crown area. Who wants flat beachy hair on an island? Also, Label M, would you mind introducing a travel size for your Volume Spray?

L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil. I cannot use anything else for my tresses besides this heavenly serum since years and I most definitely cannot live without it for a few days on holiday.  If you're going to make your tresses go through harsh chlorine pools and salty sea water, this 50ml elixir oil is a must-have post hair wash regime. Douse the ends generously with layers of this, without the fear of hair feeling slimy.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain. Funnily enough, I came across my very first Sephora at a local shopping mall in Albufeira, Portugal. I instantly went to the lip stain section and found myself a super gorgeous, wearable purple in shade 38 Sweet Raspberry. All the rave about it online is so true! They are extremely weightless, uber pigmented and long lasting. Perfect for those night-outs when you're dressing all fancy for fine wine and dining.

Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip. I love the Red Lip Whip in this one. You don't need to fuss about feathering, smudging or longevity on holiday hence whip this baby on and eat and drink as usual. The colour is an absolutely vibrant, modern red with a tiny hint of orange to give it that summery feel.

Lord & Berry Matte Crayon Lipstick. I know there's too many lip favourites in this post but that's what I mainly love to play around with on a getaway! Choose any shade from Lord & Berry Crayon range and you'll get a velvety smooth blanket of contemporary colour that feels next to nothing. Colour payoff with these is great and nothing that displays texture or cakiness on the lips. Their crayon in 7807 Sensuel is another poolside favourite paired with waterproof mascara.

And of course, I carried my full-size Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette with its gorgeous creme's & coffee shades and a dazzling row for festive looks. Not my fault it doesn't come in travel size!
