Are Soaps Sneakily Making A Comeback?

Remember the time when that particular brand of soap was your bath staple? Well, those utilitarian basics are sneakily making a comeback and how! Arrays of modern companies are creating variations of refined soap bars with fancy shapes and heavenly scents to make bath time a sensory treat. For those millennials unaware of the soap bar era, The English Soap Company has just the thing for you to try. This foam-covered fad comes in a range of gorgeous smelling traditional rectangular soap bars. Wrapped in Italian vintage paper, Green Tea and Honey & Camomile soaps have engulfed my closet with its fresh smells. After frivolous fun times on Sao Rafael beach last week, I reached straight for the Green Tea soap for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. This large slab of this scented botanical soap slithered smoothly on my skin, without drying it out. The other soap bar packed with Sussex Honey & Camomile had sweeter undertones and was equally gentle. You can feel the nourishing effect of this vegetable soap infused with shea butter and natural oils on your skin. I smelled divine post-shower with its fragrant notes uplifting my mood. I can already imagine myself frolicking around the parks this summer smelling like a floral delight! The charismatic moisture-fragrance combination is a win-win for me. No wonders these simple luxuries are making a return.
