Phil Smith Cocolicious

At a time when the future of shampoo is being questioned and threatened by the new wave of "anti-shampoos", Phil Smith tugs at some deep seated hair care traditions with its Cocolicious range. If you have grown up in an Indian household, the strong coconutty smell of Parachute hair oil is no novelty to your nose buds. Religious oiling of the tresses is responsible for generations of thick lustrous hair in Asian countries. Phil Smith has infused this old age old wisdom into a range of shampoo and conditioner filled with coconut fruit extracts. This low-lather, coconut oil based shampoo feels rather emollient and decadent in texture. Thankfully, it cleanses your hair without stripping it of its natural oils. My hair felt softer, fluffier and had an enhanced bounce than usual. The conditioner is equally creamy and light. Not to forget, the gorgeous Hawaiian fragrance that lingers throughout the house post-wash. The exquisite scent helps drag the sleepiest of the lot to wash those greasy locks in this blanket-snuggling, hot chocolate sipping weather. Go get yourself some of this!
