I had to give this one a shoutout as I am obsessed with Concealers. It's not a phase, it's just lifestyle with me I've realised. I guess it's because since I was a teen, I never could find a foundation that would provide enough coverage and started relying on concealers to achieve that bespoke coverage and colour. Since then, I hardly use about a pea sized amount of whatever foundation I'm using. To be honest, I am extremely difficult when it comes to switching up my foundation. I've held onto my precious MAC Face & Body foundation for countless years. My mantra when it comes to face base is, if it's working for you, stop experimenting with it. If you want a change, go ahead and purchase a new wardrobe for the season. If you've got complicated skin in particular, stick to what works for you and play around with concealers instead.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer reminds me of MAC Moisture Cover and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. It's one of those modern concealers that blends quite well, adapts to your skin tone and conceals instead of creating a mask. It's definitely a creamy formula so great for dry skin types, especially if you suffer from dehydration around the eyes during winter time. As for coverage, I would call it light to medium and quite effective to use under the eyes and around the mouth to cover up hyperpigmentation. Having said, it's most definitely one of those concealers that is made for more natural days, when you're not expecting it to last through the day. Because of it's hydrating nature, it can tend to crease up a tiny bit and can need those quick mirror checks. I would recommend you check it out for it's range of shades available and a moisture-rich formula.
