The Ephiphany reaction - Claudia Louch Hydrating Mango Face Cream

I had an epiphany last night while scrolling through Christmas gift guides and was super gutted to have missed this beaut in mine. So here’s a post dedicated to the ultra-gorgeous Claudia Louch Hydrating Mango Face Cream. It might have slipped my mind as it does not sit under the £40 bracket. This luxury face cream retails at a whopping £61.50 for a 40ml bottle, but it’s worth every penny!

As a lot of you makeup geeks already know, Claudia Louch is a Harley Street industry expert in Holistic and Phytomedicine (plant-based medicine) treating skin conditions. My initial attraction to Claudia Louch products was simply because its the brain child of an active skin-care professional, unlike many commercial start-ups. A year down the line, I am still scrimping on the use of its toner and cream during my night routine, as I simply cannot rationalise slapping makeup on such a gorgeously plush formula.

This fuss-free formulation has a lot of plant based goodness like exotic Mango, Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, Almond Oil and Vitamin E. For those obsessed with anti-aging creams, this also contains hyaluronic acid to plump up thy wrinkles. The richness of the cream seems heavenly on post cleansed skin that's usually dry and uncomfortable after a long days work. Skin instantly feels moisturised and stays put for hours, giving skin cells time to regenerate. I usually avoid rich creams due to the fear of blocked pores but Claudia being the expert she is, made this beaut non-comedogenic as well (bye-bye pimples).

Claudia’s Hydrating mango face cream is apt for combination skins like mine which is oily during the day and parched by night. My mom, who is currently on her third bottle, swears by it as her anti-ageing potion and loves how non-sticky and velvety the cream feels on her face. She also uses it under her makeup as it keeps her skin hydrated even under heavy MAC foundations without causing breakouts.

This stunning black bottle comes in a velvet drawstring bag, all ready to be gifted. If you are still debating what to buy your loved one this Christmas, then this high-indulgence face cream would make the perfect stocking filler. Only one more Monday to go! Yikesss  #christmasiscoming
