Weekly Favourites: Kiehls & Dirty Works

There's a little bit of everything in this weekly favourites. There's your kind-of-expected skincare, an early stocking filler idea and a post-work relaxer. Lets start with the stocking filler, just because a trip to the mall has put me in festive spirit. Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? It's almost like the months in between fast forward themselves to December. Housed with four moisturising lip balms in flavours of Coconut, Strawberry, Watermelon and Cherry - Dirty Works Lip Balm Tin is the perfect little Christmas pressie for someone who likes cute and quirky beauty bits. The texture and formula of these is buttery and smooth with a glossy finish.

Another genius product from Dirty Works is their Cucumber Eye Pads. So if you're not a clean eater or a salad lover and don't have cucumber stashed in your fridge at all times, these pre-soaked pads containing aloe vera and cucumber are a life saver. Just pop them in the fridge for 15 minutes before use and the cooling effect is instantly amplified. They work a treat to soothe my irritated eyes and red veins from contact lens wear and computer screen overuse. Winner!

Now there's more than one reason to dive into pots of Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream. Not only is the classic concoction great for parched skin types and for winter months, it's now also good for the soul! Tinie Tempah has teamed up with Kiehls by designing this limited edition product to raise money for MTV's Staying Alive Foundation. £2 from every sale will be donated to help HIV/AIDS prevention. Coming onto the product, it's a must-have for the chilly days to come. The product has a soft, cold cream like formula that's easy to apply and absorb. It instantly replenishes moisture and makes skin feel supple and bouncy. No dry patches are visible after use and the effects last quite long without producing excess oil on the surface of the skin. Plus the container is huge, pretty much the size of a body cream and should last for ages. Definitely give it a whirl!
