KIKO Rebel Romantic Collection

KIKO's Makeup Collections are always fascinating. They are bright, bold and unapologetically different. The brand has always reminded me of Illamasqua in terms of being unique. Rebel Romantic however, is KIKO's most ethereal release till date. It contains soft palettes of colours, creamy textures, iridescent formula's and dewy finishes. The collection is wearable, elegant and autumnal. I have to give a huge shout out to it's flawless packaging that feels uber luxurious and high-end. Keeping in mind their affordable price point, I'd recommend you get the entire collection if you can but if you're a hoarder like myself and want to pick up key pieces only, I would recommend the Intensely Lavish Lipsticks, Contouring Pencil Kit and Colour Definition Eyeliner and Kajal

The Intensely Lavish Lipsticks come in an array of droolworthy shades from soft nudes to vampy berry's. Their formula is quite thin which means it spreads easily and can be applied in thin layers to boost longevity. With a lustrous satin-like finish, it gives a fuller lip effect whilst hydrating chapped lips. Must-have for Autumn/Winter. Check out shades Lusty Peony, Mild Sangria and Melodious Wine.

The Contouring Pencil Kit is unreal to me for £9.90. I have scanned the beauty market and no similar alternatives exist at this price point and quality. Sure the contouring shade isn't a universal one. It's a little dark and intense with a teeny hint of warm undertone shot through it but if you are looking for a cheek sculpting cream product, it's a pretty good contender. The highlighting shade has a cool pink undertone to it which makes it flawless to illuminate high points of the face.

As for the Colour Definition Eyeliner and Kajal, it strikes full points on everything from packaging, formula to the shades it's available in. I would recommend Splendid Emerald and Cuddly Marsala. They feel lush on the skin minus any tugging or pulling and stay put until you rub it off with a potent oil cleanser.
