I love experimenting with new perfumes. There's something about every combination of scents that evokes a different emotion and makes me transition into a different zone. I rarely dislike perfumes if I am honest hence I may not be the perfect nose for a fragrance reviewer. This one by Joan Collins is the latest one that's arrived at my doorstep and is something I would personally love to give as a present.
I wouldn't mind wearing this myself but it's a little too strong for my taste. Perhaps a little spritz in the evening wouldn't hurt. But the elegant packaging, the lush box it comes housed in and the overall decadent feel would surely make this a great present. It's geared towards people who like their scents to be sexy, slightly overpowering but unique.
The notes are a mix of citrusy, woody and musky making this quite a feminine concoction. I wouldn't say it's aimed towards an older audience but it reminds me of those classic Chanel and Dior scents that were a tad bit powdery yet zesty and warm at the same time. If the scent would belong to an era, it would definitely be the 80's.
