Dior Airflash Spray Foundation

Long time no see peeps! Works been keeping me a little busy lately but I am trying my best to get into the habit of blogging at least twice weekly so bear with me!

If you have always been fascinated with airbrush foundations but cannot justify making the plunge, Diors Airflash Spray Foundation is a great alternative. With a light to medium coverage, it evens out skin seamlessly leaving just enough room for a hint of concealer for a picture perfect look. If you're having a good skin day, want just a little coverage for the Summer or are mimicking the no-makeup make-up look, it allows you the leverage to skip concealer altogether.

Apply it in a z shape and then blend and buff away with a brush. It goes without saying that you hardly need to spend time blending this as its lightweight and finely milled. The finish is non-cakey and almost as if its been absorbed into the skin and is a part of it.

One of its immediate pros is that it does not budge throughout the day. One of its instant cons is that it does however oxidise which is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to foundations.

Also, this particular shade as well as their entire shade range is sadly not catered towards those with olive/golden skin tones. So like me you might end up looking a little grey with hints of pink undertones showing through if you go ahead with it.

Overall if you are looking for a travel friendly base that will make you look awake and flawless in minutes without the hassle of blending and buffing, this would be right up your street. The decent coverage and modern finish make it a great contender for Summer festivals, weddings and poolside parties. Now just come up with shades with a hint of yellow/olive in them Dior, pretty please?
