Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment

I love hair masks, period.

There's something about what it does to my long, frizzy, overtly coloured hair that I cannot get over. This particular one is by Ojon. A haircare brand that I have literally loved for years but somehow not mentioned so much on the blog. Typically blogger problem!

I was quite intrigued by this one as the formula is like butter, when it's really frozen. You literally have to scrape your finger through it to scoop out a blob. Then rub it between your fingers to melt the balm formula until it turns into a nice fluid, oil like texture. The oil is then much easier to work through the locks as well as the scalp area.

If you're like me and suffer from scalp psoriasis, this is absolutely brilliant for dry, flaking scalp as it nourishes the skin there really well. The potent formula is also super hydrating for ends of the hair and to mend split ends, if you've been delaying a haircut like me.

You can keep it on for 30 minutes prior to washing your hair, wrap it up in cling film, a hot towel or go over your locks with a blow dryer - if you really want the product to penetrate into the hair and scalp better. I personally like to keep it on overnight and braid my hair to prevent tangles.

After a few sessions of getting my hair coloured to achieve the balayage I wanted, Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment has proven to be a saviour. It's a little unconventional due to it's texture and a little more time consuming to use than the usual hair masks but I feel it works great as a once a week treatment for intense repair. Say hello to soft, smooth locks after use!
