Clinique Nutcracker Collection

I'm not sure why but I completely forget to give a shout out to Clinique's Nutcracker LE collection that they released a while ago. Inspired by the enchanting classic ballet, the products are radiant, girly and sweet. There were two Eye Shadow and Blush Palettes and the one featured above is the Nutcraker Act 1 which has some gorgeous cool neutrals for the eye - perfect to take a look from desk to the dance floor. They are silky to apply and easy to blend as always. Do expect a decent amount of shimmer/iridescence involved in the formula's due to the theme of the collection but nonetheless, they are foolproof and quite easy to wear. The cheek colour that comes with it is a beautiful tawny pink - something I cannot have enough of. I would easily slip the palette in my luggage for a European destination and slap it on for quick make-over.

Clinique's Blended Face Powder in Snowflake Dreams is a limited edition number and is great for the Summer and night outs if you're looking to add sparkle and shine to the high points of the face, shoulders, arms and d├ęcolletage. It does have obvious shimmer particles hence I'd reserve it for the night time but the colour is an icy cool pink which is always nice to have in the collection. Use it with a small brush and buff it in well to use it as a face highlighter during daytime.

These might be out of stock on Clinique's official website but if you'd like to bag yourself something from the collection, check out John Lewis, Selfridges, Feel Unique and Debenhams.
