DKNY Be Delicious Skin Fragrance

Do you remember how DKNY's Apple Shaped fragrances took the blogging and shopping world by storm? Almost every website was talking about them and almost every vanity in the country had them displayed on their dresser. If that wasn't enough as I'm sure those dinky round bottles are still the most popular amongst the designer clan, DKNY have come out with a toned down, easily wearable version of their cult favourite perfume namely 'Be Delicious Skin'.

Why the added 'skin' you ask? Because it contains skincare ingredients that are meant to nourish and hydrate your skin so you smell amazing and have silky smooth skin at the same time. The ones I have are named 'Fresh Blossom' and '100% pure New York'. Fresh Blossom is nice and sweet yet fresh and woody at the same time. I can definitely smell a bit of Jasmine, Apricot and Grapefruit.  It's got hints of fruity and citrusy notes but nothing too dominating.

Be Delicious Skin  in Pure New York is rather zesty and crisp. It's not as strong as it's original version but just a little more diluted shall we say. What makes the product different to it's counterparts is it's atomiser spray which dispenses the fragrance more widely and continuously, just like a body mist. It covers a larger surface area of the skin so you don't have to spare an hour to spritz your entire body. Because it's not as strong as the original formula, it works well at coating the skin delicately with the scent.

As for the hydration part, I felt although skin felt a little more quenched, you can't expect it to work wonders like slapping on a full on moisturiser. If you're looking for that glowing, sun kissed finish to the skin, like the sheen you usually spot on models - this is perfect to achieve that effect. I can see it amplifying the effects of a tan so well. Holiday must-have ladies!
