Week in pictures

So I wasn't here for a while wasn't I? Thank god for once. Had a mini break after Eid around London and I have come to the conclusion that it's not bad looking after all. Being a Londoner, I don't go touring around these places often nor do I take the time to appreciate the beauty around hence this was good for a change, hanging around the city like a tourist with family over from Leicester for my nephews 5th birthday.

Oh and I also had a ride in the oh so popular 'Emirate Airline' cable car which was quite fun, although my fear of heights did kick in for a few seconds and the swaying cable car didn't help at all. Highly recommended though if you haven't tried it out yet. It gives the most stunning view of London!

Also, tried afternoon tea and dessert at the London Eye Barracuda, their vintage inspired restaurant cruiser right next to the London Eye. We just ordered something to be able to enjoy the ambiance for a bit but surprisingly enough the staff and the food wasn't bad or atrociously priced either. Definitely head over if you're around.

Need to discover London more. Any must-have places to visit peeps?

Dove Colour Radiance Haircare

What about it I hear you say?

It's brought my ombre/highlights back! *does a little happy dance*

Long story short, I have always wanted subtle ombre hair however recently after having it done at a salon and reversing it back to my original hair colour (black) after an OTT disaster, there was hardly any hope in my life for that in-my-dreams, perfectly caramel highlights, gradiating through hair oh so naturally.

Of course the peek-a-boo sunlight in London helped lighten my mane but I would like to give the entire credit to Dove's Colour Radiance range that I have been using since the past one month that has gradually enhanced the ombre colour which was fading and has revitalised the coloured bits in different intensities.

I initially thought it was just me psychologically presuming my hair colour appeared brighter, however after comparing pictures from the past few months and having quite a few people ask me if I had recently coloured my hair (which btw no one did when I ACTUALLY got it coloured!) confirmed it just wasn't me going all bonkers.

It goes without saying, for almost anything in bath & body and skin care products that if you do manage to use the entire range together, it surely works better and the results are more true to what they claim. Although the range is reasonably priced at products ranging under a fiver, I would highly recommend you getting the Leave-in conditioning spray and Express treatment conditioner, if you had to pick only a few.

They work intensely at hydrating colour treated, damaged, split-end prone, super dry hair and you shall be addicted is a guarantee.

Long story short. Replace your shower cabinet with the Dove Colour Radiance range if you have coloured hair and want to enhance it, have recently had it coloured or are trying to maintain the colour and want to prevent it from fading. It's makes hair super soft too - that's the cherry on the top :-)

Where can you find it? Boots, Superdrug, Tesco.

p.s. Yes I know I need a trim. Stop being pushy now will you?
