What you MUST try in 2011: Liz Earle Skincare

You've heard enough raving about this brand I am sure but trust me it deserves it! It's not just hyped for no reason, there has to be something behind the brand that does make it special amongst its consumers and with Liz Earle, its how much importance they place on them :)

Here are my favourites from the range and hopefully you'll find them a bit different than the usual 'Cleanse and Polish' that you've heard about. I really like that too, but you all know how good it is so now's a chance to appreciate the others in the lot.

Instant Boost Skin Tonic - I don't find Toners gimmicky, really. In fact I like an addition to my skin care regime and enjoy incorporating it. It's like play time for me so why not? This product smells yummy, just like baby powder and feels lovely to spritz on after cleansing and before moisturising. It works wonders as a setting spray or to refresh your self through out the day.

Superskin Concentrate - This is a plant based oil that I love to use once or twice a week as an overnight treatment for my skin and trust me, my skin drinks it all up! It gives me a lovely glow and of course hydrates like nothing else. Make sure to use only one squirt of this and oh yeah don't forget to give it a good sniff prior to applying it, it works as aromatherapy. I use this on my cuticles all the time too. Godsend for mature skin! Try out its rollerball version for starters.

Eyebright - This is a soothing eye lotion that works like magic when used in the mornings, especially if you're not a morning person. I can actually do a before and after with this, as it literally makes my eyes look awake. especially if used chilled. It is very gentle and doubles up as a eye make-up remover too. You might not get the point of buying a 'soothing' product unless you actually try it out. MUST-HAVE!

Smoothing Line Serum - I found this a bit dry for my under eyes as it gets absorbed immediately and did not realise my love for it until I ran out on it. It is a lovely light under eye serum that firms the skin around the eye area, filling any fine lines and making it perfect for concealer to glide on smoothly. One of the best eye serums in the market.

Energising Body Wash - Although their entire Energising range is a star, this my favourite body wash ever! It is of the right consistency and a little is all you need. It foams so nicely and smells delicious with sweet orange oil. It really is a perk-me-up product for those lazy shower days.

Deep Cleansing Mask - If you thought clay masks were only meant to drench all the moisture out of your skin, then this is what you have yet to try! I use this once a week to deep clean and the clay and the manuka honey helps keep my skin so clear. Again, it smells just like honey hence a treat to use. I also use this to spot treat pimples overnight and it dries them off completely.

If you haven't tried ANY Liz Earle products till date then make sure you do so this new year.

I must say, I like toners as well. I use this as part of my daily regimen. Maybe I should try eyebright! This might work for me and it's multi-purpose too so that's tempting. :)

Thanks for this post!

I really like the superskin concentrate too, and the superskin face moisturiser which smells disgusting, but works really well. Her brightening mask is amazing too. Great review :-)
