What? It's hard to come up with creative titles you know!

Something this week led me to create these not-so-wearable looks. You know sometimes you have the urge to just pile it on? I have that quite a few times and I could seriously go on painting my entire face, but for now lets just see the eyes.

Okay now this is something I would actually wear for a girls night out. I know its sparkly and all but its okay sometimes to go OTT I guess.

I used a Sleek Palette in Storm to create the usual smokey eye and then Vasanti's Shimmer Powder in Snowflake to get that wet-look shimmer effect going on on the brow bone. Thanks to Michelle who sent me this in the giveaway that I won on her blog! It's a gorgeous shimmery white/silver powder and stays put easily. Great for occasions!

I have always been fond of matte blue eye shadows as they are pretty difficult to get hold of. I also won an Annabelle's Eyeshadow Trio in Blue Hue, which I used in creating the look below. It was pretty good in consistency and had a lovely matte finish to it.

As you can see I am using the same Vasanti shimmer powder on the brow bone, now that I am obsessed with it. The golden streak on the lower lash line is using Belmacz Blitz Gold Leaf Eyeshadow which I will feature on the blog soon.

Purples are something I love to sport on the eyes hence the purple invasion below. I used my Sleek Bohemian Palette to achieve the look below. The look is a mix of purple, indigo and dark reds.

This is my favourite without doubt!

A week of...erm...3 EOTDS?!

I know, this is my first Dior purchase which must be quite a shocker to some.

Its Dior's Travel Studio Makeup Palette I got whilst travelling in Emirates. It looked so pretty I could not resist. Plus I thought this was an amazing way to try out its products without breaking the bank. As otherwise, I would have never really bought all these products separately!

It comes with three sets of eyeshadow duo's, a mini mascara, three lip colors, a face powder, eye pencil, lip pencil and a few mini brushes.

and some swatches for you guys, of eye shadow duo's and lip products respectively. The eye shadows are stunning in quality. These are without a base too!

The lipsticks are overtly shimmery(and sticky!) in my opinion but the colors are simply stunning.

It's difficult to find good blue eye shadows in my opinion and the duo blue here is something I am obsessed with. It comes with a matte denim blue and a shimmery deep blue which makes a great smokey eye!

Just a look I did with the blues in the palette. I am also wearing the black liner pencil and Dior Show Mascara.

Do you remember what your first Dior product was?

A mini-makeover that I gave a friend whilst we drenched her in a water fight! Why I call it mini is because I had to do it very quickly, so I wasn't so precise and all and could have done a much better job.

She is a lovely to work with as she has amazing skin and she looks so pretty naturally too, so I did not have to do much. She wanted something easy to pull off hence the not-in-your face make up.

Before...

and the after...

Products used:

- Maybelline 24 hour Superstay foundation
- MAC Moisture Cover Concealer in NC30
- Kryolan Eye Pencil in Brown used to fill in the brows
- MAC Blusher in Eversun on the cheeks
- Miners Tin o'Tint in Cherry on the lips
- ELF Mineral Eye Primer on the lids
- MAC All that glitters Eyeshadow all over the lids
- MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack to line the upper and lower lash line

I styled the hair using Clound 9 hair straighteners.

The foundation was hers which was a little light for her and we would have been better using a slightly darker one. However I loved the Maybelline 24 hour foundation, it was matte and gave a beautiful flawless finish!

I should do more of these in the future, its so much fun.
