Rain and Sauce?

I know! Even I don't quite understand what rain and sauce have to do with each other. I guess Eyeko was just trying to introduce two contrasting shades to spice it up!

and they did quite well I have to say. The colors look very tempting without a doubt.

Rain Polish is ultimately made for the London weather. Nothing can better represent the city. Yes, the red pretty much looks like sauce in the bottle and applies like sauce too, I mean color-wise of course.

Eyeko did take note of customers moaning about the overtly thick formula and have improved the consistency to quite an extent. The red applies like a dream but for some reason the blue one still consists of the thicker formula.

However, the smokey grey-blue reminding us of the clouds and the rain has won my heart somehow. Maybe I don't have a similar color that's why. But it is quite a unique one to be honest. Reminds me of YSL's Fard Lumiere in Amethyst Grey.

In short, grab the Rain Polish I would say, quite a gem it is. The Saucy Polish is a stunning red if you don't own one yet, as its consistency and color pay off is worth the money spent.

Eyeko never lets me get bored you know, it always strikes the right chord with nail paints. Cute and classy!

Did you use a top coat on the Saucy polish? Because it really looks shiny! :D

I absolutely love red polish. It's so classy! The blue polish looks fun.

I have yet to try these polishes. I love OPI and Nicole by OPI. They never let me down! Essie has gorgeous colors, but the formula drives me crazy!

Great post!

@Kate - really? I love Essie's for some reason! Infact I find OPI hard to work with.

@Anya - Aww! We'll swap ideas after a while then :p hehe

@Secret27 - Some Eyeko colors are hard to work with coz they take ages to dry and you have to be very patient! but these two are much better and thinner hence easier to work with.

I don't usually favor blue shades of nail polish, but that light blue is actually really pretty. It's very calming.
