EOTD: Bohemian Smokey Eyes

First of all, pardon the uneven blended edge on the crease ladies. I was not wearing my contact lenses the day I took these pictures due to which I missed out spotting the unblended end, yikes!

This look is inspired by the unconventional colors in the Sleek Bohemian Palette hence the title of the post. I only used matte colors for this look to add some drama and to bring out the depth of the colors.

It is so much fun and different working with matte colors as the look turns out to be completely different than what it would have been using the same colors with a shimmery finish.

And don't we just love that skin colored matte color in this palette? It is superbly pigmented and completely natural for on-the-go looks. I incorporated it within the deep colors to add some brightness to the center of the lid, especially when there is a lot of drama going around on the rest of the eye.

If you notice, I kept the crease color pointing slightly upwards, as I did not want a typical sunken crease and wanted to lift the eyes a little.

The rhinestones were completely random, just to give a boho-chic effect. All the colors I used were from the Sleek Bohemian Palette.

Products Used

- UDPP to prime the eyes
- Apply a vivid purple color in the crease and blend it upwards with a reddish brown color
- Add a indigo color in the crease to darken it
- Bring the indigo color from the crease towards the upper lashline
- Add a matte black color with a pencil brush on the upper lashline and make it meet the indigo color in the crease
- Add the indigo color on the lower lashline as well
- Apply a skin colored nude eyeshadow on the center of the lid
- Apply a stark white color on the browbone, in the inner corners and on the lower lashline
- Fill in your brows and finish off with mascara

It looks so pretty, and the rhinestones look lovely with the matte finish. Don't worry about the blending, I made the exact same mistake yesterday also because of my contacts :P
