Jumbo Lip pencil in Fuschia

You must have definately heard of NYX's famous Jumbo eye pencils, well now they come up with the lip versions which is just a treat!

Fuschia - This is a gorgeous mauve color, a sister to their very famous lipstick 'Thalia'. I usally prefer warm toned colors however this is slightly blue toned in my opinion. Which means whiter teeth - *shrug* I dont mind! :) Although these may look a pigmented mauve pink, it is actually pretty much of a nude-ish pink on application. Universally flattering colour this will be!

Iced Coffee - I had to pick this one. I have always been very fond of nude browns as it is difficult to find a decent one. This one is quite pretty as its not completely beige - hence wont give you the corpse effect and is neither too brown for my preferance. Its a nude beige-brown which is perfect to pair with smokey eyes and it wont look harsh too. Infact it has some flattering peachey undertones in some lighting which makes it appear absolutely stunning.

Consistency/Texture - Think butter! I am not even kidding, they're buttery creamy colors packed in a pencil. They are so soft you have to apply them lightly and they glide like a dream. No dragging for me :) They are neither overtly glossy/shimmery nor completely matte. I would call them semi-matte, almost a dewy finish to give the appearance of luscious lips. They wont look dry hence you can even get away with just applying this and skip gloss completely.

Pigmentation - They are just as pigmented or dare I say more pigmented than many high end lipsticks. Infact Fuschia is a perfect dupe for Nars Velvet Pencil in 'Sex Kitten'. It may not look so in the pictures above, however it is exactly the same - besides being matte. Then why spend so much on expensive lippies when these deliver so well? We all know no lipstick will stay on our lips forever. They all come off within a few hours and so does this.

Overall, these babies are delicious coloured butters packed in a pencil. I plan on getting many more!

I love getting them from here - its dirt cheap, they have a whole range of colors available, plus the shipping is so reasonable - What more can you ask for :)

i have a nyx eyeshadow trio and a nail polish, but haven't tried anythng else..

These look so creamy n glossy...I like the Fuchsia. I've tried something like these from Oriflame but they're not buttery like u described.

Ah, I wish I could get NYX where I live! I got a few round lipsticks from Cherryculture but it's hard to buy stuff according to their swatches. Nice post! ... and by the way, thanks for following my blog! It means a lot to me =)!
WOW I actually have exactly both of these shades!!! I'm planning to get more such as Soft Fuchsia =) I'm also liking the Cream Blush. They are indeed like butter... oh so creamy! Me likey!

i love nyx, undfortunatly they dont sell it in my area so i always have to order online.
