MAC BRUSHES - DUPE ALERT!!!

Mac 239 Lookalike - RRP £6 Mac 219 Lookalike - RRP £4.89

Mac 217 Lookalike - RRP £4.89

Dont these babies resemble to you like Mac 239, 219 and 217 respectively? Or is it just me!? The 239 and the 217 lookalikes have white hair's ofcoz as can be seen in the picture and feel uber soft and are of superior quality. Especially the 217 lookalike in the pic above does not do justice to what it looks in real. Its highly like the 217, just less dense. But I am sure it will provide for its purpose just as well.

I saw these at Boots recently and they are by No. 7. You can only get them at boots I suppose. Whats best is that they sell for less than half the price of Mac's brushes! Now is the time to grab them as Boots is doing a 3 for 2 offer on them and many other No. 7 products :D I already have Mac's 239 and 217 but still feel tempted :s

I posted about these a long time ago, I hate the 239 one, its really stiff! But the other two are great, I actually prefer the 219 one from boots!
GOSH do a great 239 dupe with their small flat eyeshadow brush, I actually find it applies colour better!

let me know how these work out for you and they're any good. the best dupes i've found so far that are truly 1 for 1 to MAC brushes are Sonia Kashuk. i've had my MAC brushes for over 10 years (taken care of properly! ;-) ) and my oldest Sonia Kashuk brush is about 3 years old so that's pretty good.

great post and thanks for sharing!

I have the top and bottom ones, got them both with my £5 off voucher but they are priced at £6 something in store so I still had to pay a pound. The 217 dupe was also the same price as the 239 lookalike. I don't know why Boots have done that, it's £4 something online but more expensive in store.

Anyway, the brushes are really really good. I use the first one to apply paintpots to my lids and the third one to apply shadow on my lids.

X

@Shifa - they sell SK brushes in SpaceNK but as you can probably guess by where they are being sold, they don't come cheap. We have EcoTools in Tescos which is pretty good, they have a bunch of 4 brushes for £15.
