Benefit Boi-ing Concealer! Go get it now :)

Okay so this is literally the second concealer i've tried till date. My previous one was an industrial concealer (the one used to cover discoloration and stuff) Its called dermablend camouflage system and is supposedly for theatre makeup.

Although it offered amazing coverage, it was extremely cakey, very heavy and I had to drag it on my skin!! obviously that meant more wrinkles :S plus it creased in like 5 minutes!!!

So I went to selfridges one day planning to get a MAC studio concealer. The MA tried a lot of shades on me, it even covered amazingly but again it felt very heavy, cakey, hard to blend and creased :S

I have considerably discolored dark cirles, not really dark but a bit hard to cover. So I finally reached to the Benefit counter where the MA's seemed much friendly than MAC! I instantly reached for Boi-ing as I had heard quite a bit about it and it does live up to its expectations I must say! I already hit pan in like 2 months :S and its freaking amazing!!

I got a shade 3 (i matched the darkest although I am a NC35) and its not really that dark you know! Infact its matches up quite a bit and I can even wear it w/o any foundation at all. As for pigmentation goes, its definately a bit sheer than MAC's studio concealer and Dermablend. But then again, our purpose should be to reduce our flaws, not cover it up completely ;) But it does offer a pretty good coverage!

It is a teeny bit expensive for £15 but trust me, its totally worth it if you get your correct shade as you can even use it as a cream foundation! So definately give it a try if you have that spare case on ya or if you're on a hunt for concealers. The cons for this would be that it creases like crazy, does not brighten the undereye area, needs a lot of retouching and is pricey (so always check ebay first!)

Pros

- easy to blend

- sheer coverage

- natural finish

- feels light/moisturising

- melts into the skin

- semi-matte finish
